I have it on video which is in the link below. Not sure what made you think you beat me, but your wrong. I had 120-150lb of weight in the trunk, I also had two 200 lb passengers, and 19" wheels per my sig that weigh around 5lb more per wheel than the stock ones do. A bone stock car with mrev. And trust me, you didn't beat me. I was actually catching you pretty quick till I didn't want to go up hill on the other side.

Get the MREV. It gains much more power.

OK, you wussed out... If I had droped to forth...

You were one length behind me then you backed off. Once we got in the straight and were crusing, you came around.

Maybe next year.

Right but you see on the video, I was catching you from 1 car back to almost next to you.

If I only dropped to 4th as well.

Run me next time when I am ready and don't have a full loaded car.

Btw, loved the exhaust as well. I kept forgetting to ask you what it was. It was quiet, but also sounded nice!

Wit 1500 Miles I've got tint done, clearbra, "clears" with Danno's overlay's, changed out the fogs to some 4400K's, city light's to amber, interiors to LED's wih blue courtesy's, LED in lic. plate, debadged her and dumped the "Blose's in front for Infinity Kappa's and threw in an Amsoil Nanofilter when installing the MREV today ......... Sheez, seems like only a month or two ago I was thinking ,"just get me the damn car , who needs to mod such a cool vehicle?" Hey, it WAS a month or two ago I said that .. LOL.
BTW, Absolutely 0 issues w/ the little Black Beauty ...... no axle noises, shifting problems, sore backs, or "funny noises" (other than the "wind noise"like sound that comes then goes on cold morning's). Yep, my "G" has been perfect so far and a the advanced age o 61 I find myself going out to the garage on a regular basis and just staring at her. Damn, the lines on these cars are just beautiful....... certainly in my estimation destined to be a classic design. Took this old timer a long while to come to grips with the "no V8 thingy" but I guess it's part of GROWING UP Ha,Ha,Ha.
PS: I redlined the little 6 banger on th way home from the dealer ...... several times.
I love it!!
I had an awesome young salesman...had sideways and redlined twice on the test drive. In fact, he said "if you want let's run over to an empty parking lot, turn off the VDC and really have some fun!" Had to pass on that...

I didn't hear that, I wondered where you were. Hope your feeling better now.

So, I have read that the MREV gives more power only up till about 5000 RPM. What's your impression?

The power is between about 3800-5500~ is where it kicks. After that is not as noticeable. But I did gain a little below that. Above 5500 it lost a little.

But everyday driveability is the reason I got it and it makes it a car that is easier to drive. It's kinda like going from a HONDA VTEC 4 banger that you have to rev to get the power out of to a Nissan SR20DE that has a ton of TQ and doesn't need to be reved.

Still coughing, but not running any temps, or feeling bad now.

Yeah, the video doesn't lie.

All I saw in my rearview was him backing off. I didn't see that hard charge up to that point.
