I'm guessing Louisiana, not California.

Had a code P0340, ordered new revised parts from Nissan. Only got intake, will probably get the exhaust ones anyway as preventative.

As you can see, they've got some kind of metal io them now.

Unfortunately, my starter also decided to die, so that will be this evening's festivities.

manual calls for 80W-90 GL-5

think I used Amsoil fluids when I did my diff and trans fluids over the winter. Really any local auto store gear oil will be fine, it's the trans that requires special stuff.

P0335 is the code for the crank position sensor, P0340 is the code for the bank 1 (left side) camshaft position sensor. They're both straight and don't have metal around the shaft. The crankshaft position sensor is part number 23731-AL60C and I believe goes into the transmission housing.

Also the part number on your bag is slightly different than the correct cam sensor: 23731-6J90B.

I've used Amsoil Severe Gear 75-90 for years and the G with 150K miles has never had a diff problem so I'd say it works pretty well.

The part numbers on the bag are the new revised part numbers for the cam sensors.
In other words: bank 1 (passenger side) 23731-6J90B has been superseded by part number 23731-6J90D
Bank 2 cam sensor is now 23731-AL61D

They now have metal on them as you can see in my comparison.

Replace your starter with a rock auto $80 replacement. It's made my G sound fast again with it's startup sound... I really like it.

As for revised cam sensors - interesting!

Test fitted these bi led projectors into my test lights. They fit nice with no trimming for the projector, the shroud might need a little trimming but that's nothing major. The real question is do I redo my lights or just sell these for profit
