I dont' see any problems with those sizes, should fit wheels fine and work well with VDC. The V12's are a great tire but on a pretty heavy backorder. If you liked the Kumho's might want to stick with those.

Call me when ready!

hi,
have an 08 g35x, needing new set of rubber. looking for an all-season, something that can get me through the Boston winters. Not a spirited driver. my criteria, in order of importance:

- low noise
- decent life (40k+ miles or better)
- serviceable in the winter snow
- less than $150/each.

i've had some yokos and eagle gt on my last wrx, and the g now runs on some b-stones, but they are wearing out after 30k mil.

suggestions?
looking at bf goodrich advantage t/a (but worried about reviews about noise) and yoko envigor.

others to consider?

thanks

Pretty decent selection of tires in that price range. The Yoko Envigor would be my first choice for a sport all season tire. Should get 45K or so, pretty quiet, good handling. A step in the longer life quieter ride direction would be Kumho's LX Platinum. About 60k, softer ride, quieter, but not as sport based as the Yoko. Both good tires... just depends on if you want the performance or luxury side.

Call me when ready!

Hi Neal, nothing sales related but i've been having trouble with inside lip rubbing on the front sway bar at full lock with the RP03's i bought from you folks a while back. To address the issue i've added a 5mm spacer using the OEM lugs. I'm able to get 7.5 full turns on the nuts, your site recommends a minimum of 8. What are your thoughts on this?

Thank you.

Really need the eight turns for proper engagement. Might need a slightly smaller spacer to allow more exposed stud.

Interested to know if you can order XXR's? Your site doesn't list them. There's only a handful of places I know of that carry them. Mostly online stores too.

HI,
so what have you heard about the kumho ecsta 4x? seems like a good value, and it tested well on tirerack.com ? i'm worried about treadlife though, but for $99/tire, i have to consider it...

so my options, kumho ecsta 4x, then the kumho lx then yoko envigor or avid trz...

i'm worried that the 4x's will only last me 2 yrs (30k mi), while the other options might last 3 yrs (given no unforseen pothole/damage)

Hey Neal,

Looking to pick up a set of summer tires for my new rims I just ordered which are 18x8.5 +25mm offset for a 2005 Infiniti G35x sedan no mods, not sure what size tire would give the best fitment with stock suspension for now. Also a fair priced tire and any good brands you recommend , I don't mind a bit of stretch.

Any info would help this noob out greatly, thanks!
