On a coupe with coils. Will i be able to achieve a good stance with that or will i need spacers? Don't want too much camber as it's a daily driver.

Something like this:

Same car but didn't take his wheels

you're good. you'll look like this: http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6171/6...7c9a8b9e_b.jpg

exact same stretch and equivalent offsets. just that yours are 2mm less aggressive in the front. fab who owns that car told me he was running -1.8* all around. if that's the look you want, you're set.

I dont think this has been asked yet (if it has i missed it) Im looking at running Enkei RPF1 18x9.5 all the way around wrapped in 265/35/18s +15 offset all the way around (so i can rotate tires) but im not sure if they will A) clear the akebono BBK and B) look decent not hella flush but decent. Ive seen Dubi on here he runs RPF1 with 10.5 all the way around but he said he had to dial in more negative camber im trying to stick with close to stock specs on the street setup then track setup is a whole other thing. Also this wheel and tire setup would be used for street and autoX/road racing.

this might be a really dumb question but i want to make sure what to expect.

my current wheels have these specs (oem 18" split 5 spoke):

front: 18x7.5 +45 offset
rear: 18x7.5 +45 offset

and i am most likely going to get wheels in these specs:

front: 19x8.5 +35 offset
rear 19x9.5 +40 offset

does that mean the front will stick out an extra 1" and 10 mm? by using that logic, the rear would also effectively stick out an extra 2" and 5 mm?

2005 infiniti g35x 18x8.5 +25mm 245/40/18 square setup Is the setup I'm running rite now stock suspension. I'm ordering my Bc racing coilovers this week and lowering 2-2.5 inches to get rid of my wheel gap. Can't go much lower as there is large speed bumps that cross my path and bad driveways for my job.

Will I have to roll fronts and rears?

Will I need front and rear camber kit with toe bolt?

Appreciate your answer.

Well here goes another rim question, I just finished installing my Akebonos and my damn vossen vv84 do not clear the front ones, I guess the shop that I used ordered the Wrong disk type 2 years ago lol, I told them I was planning to upgrade to BBK in the future. Anyway spacers are not an option yet, I just don't trust them but maybe I will change my tune lol. A local person is selling a brand new set of works VsXX and this are the specs, can anyone let me know if this setup will work with BBK, my concern is the rear offset and width.

Vehicle type 2009 G37X Sedan

Work VsXX*

5x114.3

20x9
Et +36
R disc*

20x10.5
Et +44
O Disc*

Tires probably will be

245/35R20 front
285/30R20 rear or 275

I'm lowered on Eibach pro springs, and have both alignment kits installed for front and rear, so I can adjust camber, anyway thanks *for any help in advance.

I have an 04 g35x running 18x8.5+35, 245/40/18 all around, lowered on bc coils. Fenders up front are already rolled... Im not sure what the OEM spec is on the off set for the 05 but on the 04 its +45. My wheels poked out about 5-7mm before i put my bc coils on. After i lowered it (not sure how much bc i left the spring rate and ride height the same fresh out of the box) the wheels sat nearly flush. i have the Eibach Pro SPC rear camber kit with toe bolt adjustment. Adjusted rides height and spring rates after the coils settle.... Damper setting is at 8 clicks away from hard in the rear and 4 clicks away from hard in the front. A year later i Finally found a front camber kit made for the AWD manufactured by SPC model number 72125. Just put them on and set them at -1.2 camber in the front and the rear is set at -2.0 maxed out. before the Front Camber Kit my camber was -2.2 on the left and -2.9 on the right!... The front camber kit made a day and night difference!!! Im very pleased with my set up and stance... I will be going with a more aggressive set up soon but i use my car daily to and from work and every where else, so i kept it pretty safe...... heres before and after my front camber kit..... I HIGHLY RECOMEND GETTING both front and rear camber kit.

Just imagining how my ride would look kickin it with all the G heads over there..... GAME is pretty weak here in the South East.. Virginia Beach. No custom fabricators, tuner shops, not many events, networking here isn't as fast paced either... oh well. got to work with what i got.. Eric @ BAUSauto has been hookin it up!!!

I am some wheels I am trying to sell off of my coupe to a guy that has a sedan. The wheels are 20x8.5 +25 in the front and 20x10 +25 in the back. He isnt doing any suspension work. He wants to use some tires with some good meat to them. Not really too low of a profile. With those wheel specs would he have any issues? What would be a good tire size for him to go with and not run into problems? Thanks.

They will fit ok, but you will have room for some spacers. At least 10mm before you even start to have issues.

The brake clearance however isn't something I can answer that's a question for enkei, but as far as I know, the RPF1 has a good chunk of brake clearance.

Just to confirm, this is a coupe right?

No, for every inch you move it's 12mm in offset change. Soooo

19x8.5 +35 is 22mm more aggressive than 18x7.5 +45
19x9.5 +40 is 17mm more aggressive than 18x7.5 +45

Yea you will need to roll the rear fenders, the fronts would be fine. If you hear any rubbing pull out the phillips screws in the top of the fender liner.

You will need a TINY bit of camber for the rears to clear the fender in the back, but you will not NEED camber arms. I would recommend them if you want to save tires though.

IIRC, O disk is ZERO clearance so the rears might have some issues. You would have to test fit those. R disk I believe is a mid disk/brake clearance disc. Which could potentially clear the Akebonos. But again I can't say if they will or will not.

Best bet is go test fit them, he's local so it takes all of 10 minutes to go try them on!

The front would be fine, the rears won't fit.

r disk does in fact clear front akebonos. o disk rear as well. you obviously start pushing clearance with single digit offsets.
