Thanks for the reply but, I feel I should rephrase. The PAC OEM-1 seems to be the stereo harness. The Scosche harness seems to be both the SWC and a standard harness. I believe all I need is the SWC and associated wiring. Not the redundant harnesses. I think I have it figured out but, would I splice in the appropriate wires for the SWC before the OEM-1, or after? Another question, the Scosche has three white harnesses and the PAC only has two any insight to that? Thanks and I hope that is clarifying.
Hey Wrathernaut don't mean to ask the same question if already asked but what would be the best wire to connect this parking break wire I have on my Pioneer AVH-4200 NXT to my 2006 Sedan?

I'l assume you mean 4200NEX no NXT. Since it's against board rules to bypass safety devices, I'm just going to assume you are putting it out of view of the driver. In which case, I suggest putting it in RV mode.
I hate to ask this but I'm going to attempt to install my new DD headunit in my 2005 G35x w/bose but no nav tomorrow morning. I have purchased the following and want to make sure I have everything.
JVC KW-M740BT
ROEM-NIS2 -
ASWC-1
antenna adapter
Metra 95-7605A
Do I wire my new head unit adapter to the ROEM-NIS2 and then connect the ROEM-NIS2 to the factory harness? My other concern is that I saw some say they needed an extra scosche adapter ring around the headunit or should it fit without it?

You'll probably need the trim ring to fill the space but that's up to you. The NIS2 interfaces between stereo and factory speaker lines in yes. Otherwise follow the guide it's bulletproof tried and tested.

Thanks, read the guide but wasn't sure if I was missing a harness.
Since you have a JVC here's a couple of pics showing what you'll deal with if your unit has the same dimensions as mine. You can't really see the trim ring well but you can see the space between the HU and the faceplate.
THANK YOU Wrathernaut for this excellent write-up. I wouldn't have done it myself without the instructions, comments and feedbacks; I was def. not trying to pay someone an arm and leg to do it, haha. So I did the installation on Sunday and took me a couple of hours. I also installed a backup camera since I already had access to the back of the radio. Everything went well, however the part I had the most difficult time with was the Axxess aswc-1 steering wheel control. After multiple resets and wiring swapping the steering wheels controls decided to work! The aftermarket headunit with the JDM bezel look 100% better than stock. Here's mines

Does the rewind function work from your steering wheel?

Hi there, so volume up/down, seek up/down and mode works. The only thing that doesnt work is the power button. I remember reading though the pages of the forum saying it’s not suppose to? Correct me if I am wrong. But I can live with the power button not working. Lol.

I couldnt get my power button to work either. I asked around and it seems nobody else has gotten it to work either. So Im guessing it is just unprogrammable.
Recently, I noticed my seek down button doesnt work but it will work when Im switching tracks. I'm not even sure if it was working when I first installed it. Probably just needs a reprogram, which I might attempt tomorrow.

are you using the aswc?
I am using the aswc with a JVC hu in my 03 coupe, and the power button on the wheel functions as an attenuate button.
