Not sure why the new HU doesnt produce sound (radio, cd or iphone)??

Any help appreciated!!!
Perhaps the Jensen isn't sending the amp turn-on signal or is just faulty. Check for a signal from the headunit - the amp power signal should be an easy check for +12v with a multimeter, the audio signal can be checked for similarly, but won't be a nice constant +12v signal to search for.

Just tested my connections. I tested all 8 audio lines with positive lead inside of plastic connector and black grounded to metal of car and got ~6V on everyone of them on the HU side. On the car side (in between car and PAC) those same lines were a range of .15V to .8V. The yellow and red lines were 12V on both sides of pac

But what about the blue amp turn-on signal?

Here is the wire diagram for my HU. The solid blue line is connected to the red ACC line and reads 12V. I do not have the blue/white wire hooked up at all.

Which I now realize may be my problem. If not though, any other ideas?

Can you snap a photo which very clearly shows how your wiring harnesses are connected?

Sending photo in a few min. I hooked up the blue/white wire on the HU to the PAC. It is reading 0 then .038 repeating (0 for 1 sec then .038 for a sec etc). The yellow and red are still reading 12v I also turned the little screws in the PAC all the way to the right and now on the PAC to amp side the readings vary from .5 to 1.5 for the speakers.

This pic the bundle I am holding is the speaker wires. You can see the solid blue and red from HU hooked to red of PAC. And the wires hangin down next to seat are all wires from the multicolored plug mentioned above.

Here is a slightly more detailed pic of the pac wiring harness.

Ok, here's one problem:

You've got the radio's blue wire connected to the combined red wires, instead of the ROEM's blue wire connected to the combined red wires. Review the wiring diagram, which shows the ROEM's blue wire connected to the red wires.

I'm going to try and find the manual to the radio to confirm some of the colors.

I'm a little confused. Are you saying that the white plugs from the PAC (came with original package from PAC) don't plug into the car and that the ends that were unattached to anything on the PAC don't attach to the Head unit?

Does that mean I will need to splice on the "car" side of the Roem? And leave the blue wire open on the HU side?

If the blue/white isn't reading +12v, then the amp won't turn on. Looking through the manual for your radio, you may need to ensure the subwoofer output is ON (audio settings sub-menu).

If that doesn't cause a +12v signal to go out on the blue/white wire, just connect the blue/white wire on the vehicle side of the ROEM up to the red wire on the vehicle side of the ROEM.
