Has anyone done this before/are there pictures up for this? Also...I currently have an annoyance with my factory bluetooth set up - when I use it the soundcomes out of only ONE speaker - the front right one...with the new HU can this be fixed to come through all the speakers?

Anything's better than the bose amp, but the amp you've got only will power two speakers.
Another quick question Wrathernaut I have the 06 coupe with Navi and voice control and I was reading somewhere that if you have the voice control you need the Pac Steering wheel controls not the Metra. Will the Metra still work or do I need to get the Pac-Swi-Ps for the Pioneer 8400bh.

Where is this "somewhere" that has all this wrong information people are getting? The factory bluetooth adapter receives the steering wheel buttons before the headunit does, so long as it is bypassed, either will work. The Metra Axxess and PAC SWI-PS both work off the same signal, so it makes no difference which you use, but the Axxess requires less soldering and programming, so it's the way to go.

Nah, nobody's ever posted up pictures of it. The factory mic sucks, so there's not really much reason to re-use it.

The factory bluetooth won't work with the new stereo.

What aftermarket AMP and power is recommended to power all the speakers with the 8400. I ordered this AMP last year for my old car and never used it - it's still in the box I think ...

The headunit really doesn't matter as to what amp you use, but that amp... doorstop. The 8400's built-in amp is probably just as powerful. If you're powering stock speakers, the built-in amp is fine. If you're doing aftermarket speakers, the power needed varies based on what speakers you put in.

What amp would you recommend that would then be able to power the bluetooth phone reception to all the speakers as the stock system i only hear audio out of one speaker (front passenger side).

The 8400's built-in bluetooth will go to all the speakers, the factory bluetooth adapter won't be used at all.

My question is.. I just got this unit the other day (have not installed yet) and i'm trying to figure out.. the app feature.. I have an andriod (samsung galaxy s3).. will i be able to use the apps on my phone with this unit.. I read somewhere if you buy the cable for the unit.. it will allow you to play movies and music that is on your phone directly to this unit (8400bh). Is that true or false?
