A few SR20DE car specs (Sentra SE-R)

Model Code: B13
Engine Code: SR20DE
Horse Power: 140 @ 6400rpm
Torque: 132 lb/ft @ 4800rpm
RPM limited at 7500rpm (200SX SE-R is limited to 7100rpm)
Displacement: 1998cc (2.0L) Compression: 9.5:1

================================================

Engine Code: B18C5(ITR):
Displacement 1797cc (1.8L) DOHC VTEC
Horse Power: 197hp/134trq
Compression Ratio: 11:1
Hydraulic LSD Transmission

=====================================

SR20DET
Displacement: 1998cc (2.0 liter)
Cam type: DOHC 16 valve, chain driven cam sprockets
Bore and stroke: 86mm x 86mm
Compression: 8.5 : 1
Horsepower: 205ps at 6000rpm
Torque: 203 ft/lbs at 4000rpm
Stock boost: 7 psi
Throttle body bore: 60mm
Injector size: 370cc/min
Turbo specs:
Compressor: T-25, 60 trim 56mm BCI-1 compressor.
Turbine: T-25, 62 trim 53.8mm 0.64 A/R turbine housing.

Ok S15 do make 250hp

Like Skunk2 said Any Monkey can slap a turbo and go fast NA to NA I dont think your Nissan can hold it's ground. Just wondering why Honda never entered the Turbo market?

Please educate me, is there a Nissan 900whp 4 banger built engine out there? why not use your bullet proof engine and make it a 1000whp

oh by the way, I havn't seen any Nissan break 10's all-motor

In the end they are just a Honda

Hondas can not take boost on a stock block. The SR20DE can handle over 500 at the wheels on stock internals!!!!! No Honda can do this period.

There are many SR20DE over 1000 hp engines out there. With built blocks.

If the warranty is only 260 bucks I will definatly get it. It just sucks that I have to buy the hood and I really want the Stillen front bumper because that IMO is one of the nicest bumpers on the market. In the end, it will be 6-7K I will not miss.

And guys, we are family, please don't diss eachother. Why are we even talking about Honda's? They don't even deserve our time.

If I had time I would compile this debate into like a PDF all the pros and cons of stillen, the numbers, proofs, arguments in a professional manner.

This way we can use it for the webiste. We need to do something productive with this thread because there is a TON of good information in here for anyone. I don't think I really have any more questions haha.

We all can realize, every car is different. If Guy A is making 350HP with his Stage 2 I may be able to make 355 or 380. Or maybe I'll lost to a Vortech but the same setup would win. It's hard to actually figure it out but in the long run we all just want to have fun right?

wonder I don't see them on the pro level breaking the 9 sec on 1/4 mile. even the G with 3.5L TT are still having problem breaking the 10's.

Ok enough this is not Honda vs Nissan.

I have never considered Stillen but now this thread opened up my eyes.

I thought warranty only cover the block? if that is the case then there is no point coz it's the labor that really kills you.

Why are you argueing!? That is not a STOCK BLOCK?! Sure any engine can handle lots of power if you BUILD IT.

But if you take a stock Honda B18 and put 15psi to it, it will blow. Put that on a SR20DE and it will want more!

And why bring the Honda vs Nissan thing. Nissan is known for there bullet proof engines like the SR20 VG30DETT, and others.

You will like the Stillen SC! I rode in a Stage4 one with a G35 Coupe. It's very fast. I will try tonight after I swap my wheels and wash my car to work on those numbers. The car being pretty is first.

Alright TX thanks alot. I think looking at the warranty situation I may just do Stage III because if they only insure the blocks and no labor there's no point you can get blocks easy.

malx, that's what i thought as well. if you are willing to bite the bullet on going with FI setup, you must be willing to take the risk of having to fix the blown engine. of course, that doesn't mean that you will be crazy enough to go with a much much much increased risk of a blown engine by having high-boost turbo setup or overtuned vortech withough having a built engine. so, there are risks, but Stillen is possibly the safest of them all. people will tell you that the trick is in tuning, that's true - but you can always minimize that risk by having a qualified shop do the install.

Okay guys here it is. I will let you guys decide. This is the best technical data you can get with numbers and you can obviously see which one had the best out come. Mean #s as well.

Nice document TX. I think once I compile the cash I'll go with the stillen. Or maybe I'll wait for somoene to sell theres. I want a safe kit, I guess it's safe and reliable. That's good. I'm not going CRAZY power, I want saftey and I think Stillen is my best bet.

Thanks for all of the info.

Oh and for all of you bolt-on kids. I don't want to deal with installing a million things in different spots of the car and than tuning it with some external device. I'll pass. I would rather do nothing than bolt-on's.

And that Stillen Kit you can easily do in your own garage. I have installed Vortechs on Maximas, and they are not easy. And definitely need to be tuned to even make any good power.
