My clear bumper lights were clipped in and haven't been messed with in 8 years. Odd so many of you need screws and zip ties to hold them in.

I have an aftermarket bumper which is thicker than OEM, the clips don't work very well with it.

I was reading an old thread today about the throttle opening around 80% instead of 100% and got an idea, I decided to check the APP sensor for the answer to this problem and noticed it wasn't going through its full travel, It had adjustment screws so i adjusted it full counter clockwise so it was at the full beginning of its limit, but now it had an operating range bigger than the range of the pedal bar so i increased the pedal travel by bending the bar level with the brake so that the stop off the back of the pedal contacted the firewall just before the stop in the APP sensor contacted, the other option was to cut the stop off the back of the pedal but i decided it was too permanent and wouldn't permit proper adjustment nor operation. It worked I now have a much farther pedal travel and a noticeable power increase. If someone with a tuner or access to a dyno wants to try this and could verify the throttle travel and/or power increase that would be great.

I want more info on this. I could use some free extra power.

Does being able to push the pedal further actually make the throttle body open more? Does the little bit of extra opening actually give u any noticeable power gains?

After a run around to hardware stores to find a missing cotter pin, calipers are built and ready to be installed. Ordered Akebono stickers. Glad I rebuilt them, found a torn boot and a few pistons didn't slide as easily as they should. OEM shims and springs are noticeably better quality than the ones that came with the pads, glad I picked those up.

5AT guys can benefit from the 3.5 gears out of a 6MT equipped differential. There is also a 3.7 geared diff from newer 370Z's that will work but that's damned steep in the 5AT and renders 1st gear sort of worthless in the 6MT unless you are on drag tires with a sequential transmission.

Tackle peripherial systems, brakes, suspension, cosmetic, etc. If you want more power adders you're limited to: 3.5" (or bigger) intake to take advantage of that 75mm TB, underdrive pulley, lightweight flywheel if 6MT, lightweight propeller shaft, cams, headers, lighter weight wheels, 2 piece lightweight rotors.

Also think about going forced induction.

I'm happy to see you mention this. Too many members just throw the bigger throttle body on expecting gains and it doesn't work that way.

Also OP, throttle body spacers do nothing on our cars. It's a often debated topic here but dyno testing has confirmed they are snake oil.
