Random Little Question Thread

I'd go with 235/40/19 front (identical overall diameter size to OEM), and 245/40/19 rear (speedometer/odometer will be 1.5% slower than OEM, but at least you'll have a nice straight sidewall on the rear. But for example at 60 mph, it's 1.5% slower so you'll actually be going 60.9 mph. Not a big deal)

I ran 265/40/18 on 18x8.5 +33 in the rear at stock height, no rubbing even with 3 people in the back. But then i put on G coupe springs in the back and i had really bad rubbing.
Now i'm on coilovers and with a finger gap or so with my fenders rolled and i never have to worry again about rubbing. Just say...
245/xx/xx should be more then golden.

springs or shocks
Hey everyone. I really like the g35 balance but i think the body roll is a bit much. I would love to improve on the car but dont want to make it stiff. If live in new york youll understand. Understand. Is it better to just get dampers or springs. Im not sure if i wanna lower car yet. . But pretty much im asking. Which ones have a better impact on performance. While keeping or improving the good balance. I.m.o

A little more information about your G would be helpful, how many miles on her clock? The OE shocks only last about 60K miles, if your Infiniti is riding like a boat in the ocean they need to be replaced. If you want to go around corners without body lean shocks like Tokico D Specs are a great beginning. Then there's springs to bring your G closer to the ground but still leave a nice OE ride, Tein Z H-Techs will get that job done. But you'll need a camber kit front and rear so you're not eating those tires. With springs/shocks installed, sway bars and adjustable endlinks will tighten up your ride so body lean is a thing of the past....unless you're running cheap rubber with a UTQG wear rating over 400. Tires are another major factor in how your ride corners. None of the suggestions above are cheap but our MARKETPLACE under vendor suspension is a good place to go shopping....Gary

Thanx for info gary. My car is at 98k. But i auto crossed it when it was 50k and i thought body roll was just a bit to much but car still had balance. But im alittle confused About something gary. I thought springs. Was the remedy for roll how can shocks help that. Maybe if there stiff but i dont want a jaring ride. Idk maybe im completely wrong. ??. I dont mind lean so much as i feel that it will help comfort on uneven. Roads. I just think at factory settings is just abit to much. I will be replacing factory wheels with wider ones. I can only imagine the extra grip will lean her harder
