Have a Question/s About Wheels/Tires/Offsets/Camber/Etc? Ask here::
Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but don't see a point in starting a new thread...

You won't have an issue. Just make sure you pull out the screw at the top of the fender that holds the fender liner in, because if anything is going to rub it's going to be that.
ok so idk if this is the best place to put this...maybe the random q thread...but i feel this is the best spot since you guys are the best when it comes to wuestions about wheels. my buddy has a B6 audi A4 quattro and he is looking to get new wheels. he is thinking about getting 18x10 all around. do u guys know what offsets he would need and also what tires he would need. he wants to have them as flush as possible. once again idk if this should be asked here but any help would be appreciated. even fowarding me to someone on here that has an A4 and would know.
Thanks
Thanks
Could send JBF a message or even Green Goblin as they both own Audis as well.
But from my experience with A4s a 10" wide wheel is getting pretty aggressive for them. Roughly a +30 offset on there would be solid (little higher up front) and maybe some 255/35s or something along those lines would be somewhere to start.
Tell him to search up on Canibeat and hellaflush and what not for some specs for B6s and go backwards from there. If he needs a hand converting things point him to this thread or just keep asking in here and I'll help you out as best I can.

Hey guys, I have a 08 sedan that is bone stock. I have OEM 17inch wheels with 225/55 R17 rubber.
I was wondering what the largest width tire I can put on these wheels (no plans to change them yet). I would like to avoid rubbing or having to roll the fenders.
I have used the Kumo Ecsta's on my CTS and like those, but any guidance or suggestions would be great.

I didnt realize they were that narrow. A 255/40 may be what I look at for now.
I need to do some more research on this thread. Wondering, if I do go ahead and put some wheels on it, what would be a reccomended setup that would not put me in a tailspin of other mods (suspension, etc). I was thinking 19's.
Since you're keeping the 17" rims and they're 7.5" wide 245/50 is the largest tire you should run and this size will maintain the correct diameter. Over sized tires on narrow rims can be dangerous on the highway. Search "Tire Size Calculator!"

You guys think it'd be worth it to get Tein H-Techs for the G coupe? $180 seems worth it for a brand new set of springs. Really need to take away from the huge stock gap.
I need an alignment, so if i put the springs in and then went to the dealership to get one done, should I have a problem with too much camber? Don't wanna eat my tires up but also dont wanna spend a ton on a camber kit just yet.

$180 + $100 (Align) + potential install fee.
You're into almost $300 to lower the car like an inch. Save up another couple hundred bucks for coils if that's the route you plan to go.
Well regardless of what I do suspension wise I still need an alignment. Its needed one since I bought the car.
So I shouldn't go for a camber kit later on either? Just go for coilovers?

So forward to the right.
Look at it like a boat the forward rolling part is the bow (so it CUTS through water) The rear which is flared out and fat is the stern.
WTF did you just ask?
You want to know roughly what specs those wheels would be if that car had say, -6 degrees of camber in the rear?
1. It looks like excessive stretch (not needed)
2. Camber looks less than -6
3. I'd guess a 19x10.5 with a 235/35, -15 offset and maybe -5 degrees of camber tops.
Get me some more photos and I'll try and give you a better opinion.
