Have a Question/s About Wheels/Tires/Offsets/Camber/Etc? Ask here::
I'd just go for coils man, you know you're going to want to go lower so just take it all in one swoop and deal with the fender gap for the time being. Keep an eye in the marketplace for some used BCs they pop upp for like $700 on occasion!
No... forward would be to the left. The tread is pointing downwards. Most summer tires the tread points in the direction that the tires are directionally forward.
Look at it like a boat the forward rolling part is the bow (so it CUTS through water) The rear which is flared out and fat is the stern.

haha I figured you just looked at it then looked at t again and were like wtf seeing pictures of tires not mounted always confuses ****.
If you have ones facing the other way though, they are probably an asymmetrical tire with an inside outside.

WTF did you just ask?
You want to know roughly what specs those wheels would be if that car had say, -6 degrees of camber in the rear?
1. It looks like excessive stretch (not needed)
2. Camber looks less than -6
3. I'd guess a 19x10.5 with a 235/35, -15 offset and maybe -5 degrees of camber tops.
Get me some more photos and I'll try and give you a better opinion.

Like I said, I don't know for sure haha I can't eye everything.
Get some more photos of it and I can try and lend a hand or ask Dre what the specs are. If he knows the camber he probably knows the owner so he can probably get you the specs.
probably lol

it was the only picture posted that i know of, not to mention it was in the DG coupe picture thread.

Don't sweat it though, i'm not too pressed in finding out since it may not even be -6 of camber. Must be an inside joke between him and the royal flush guys, who knows.

ok 4dgs, last question before i bite the bullet on 30mm spacers and get my fenders rolled lol. Are there any pictures to show how my car might look like with similar offsets? Will it just sit flush with the fender, or kind of stick out too.
quoted the wrong thing before there you go.
It definitely won't poke but it will be flush.
This is totally stock height so it looks like they poke but these are vary similar offsets in the rear (the front is much more aggressive)

Help with setup
Hey guys, new to the forum. I have a few questions that I'm sure the answers are posted in a thread somewhere but I'm still finding my way around.
I'm looking to purchase wheels and tires for my 04 coupe. I'm a fan of the tucked look and not so much of the wide stance. I want to make sure I get the offset and tire size correct before I order. I want to lower the car too and have no ideal which springs are better. I'm after 19 inch staggered wheels and curious what offset and wheel size I should go with. I'll post a few pics of some cars with similar looks. I just want to avoid rubbing and excessive tire wear. Daily driver, not for racing. Thanks for any input/help.
Ps. Great sight!

19's are pretty popular, 19x9 front and 19x10.5 is pretty standard. Some where around +10 offset for the front and +20ish for the rear. That will of course change with the wheel width.
How much ground clearance do you want/need?
If you go with 19's you can tuck tire, but you will be pretty low unless you go with a tall tire.
If you go with 20's you will have a little more ground clearance when you tuck tire.
245/35/19F and 275/30/19R (or 35 series rear) are pretty common sizes for those wheels above. I would go for a 285/30 rear.
There are others on here that are a lot better when it comes to coupe offsets, Take my advice as a starting point and hopefully one of them will chime in to asist you further.
Welcome.
Check here, you will find some visuals and maybe some specs posted

Thanks for the info. I'm also considering 20's after browsing around the site. I found a useful thread were members were posting pics along with their setups. Man, it seems like I saw the same look with several different tire sizes and offsets.
Some people like 20's and others 19's. Whew, I'm really struggling with so many options out there.

Just take your time and find what you really want. I have been on 18's,19's, and now 20's.
IMO wheels make ore break the vehicle so continue doing as you are and look through all the wheel/tire posts.
I have spent way more time than one should looking through those posts
