G35/350Z aftermarket coilover, springs and shocks spec's w/updates
Im also very interested in this information around the pss10 Bilsteins.
Cheers
Stupid question, but if I were to just put 06 OEM Z springs/shocks on my 06 G Coupe 6MT then I would expect a .5" drop with the same ride quality? Since spring rates are the same.
I was wondering if anybody knows how to tell is 350z springs are revised. The car is a 2004 but what month did they start with the revised setup. He said the springs have 2 red dots and 1 purple. And is $85 a good price fore springs/shocks w/ 40k miles?
Thanks for the reply.

$85 is a good deal if they are revised. Unrevised shocks are to be avoided however due to the bounciness and crap ride.
hey y'all I just wondering what would be a good setup for my 05 G coupe on factory 19s 255/35/19 up front and 285/35/19 in the rear? I tried going through all this, and I am a total noob when it comes to this stuff....I was thinking either G35 Tien H-techs or the 350z H-techs as I don't want to go to low, but just improve handling a little and have a cleaner stance, but still have a comfortable ride and not be hindered by how low the car is...my buddy was on S-techs and he was scraping over speed bumps, but he also had the 18s...thanks for any advice or suggestions
To answer my own question, 2006 OEM (revised) 350Z springs lowered my 2006 G35 Coupe 6MT 3/4" in front and 0" in the rear. Yes, no drop in the rear at all from 350Z springs. I did the spring perch mod to drop the rear 1/2".

do you find the front is too low? better stance, better handling etc
Im thinking of doing the same thing over in aus.
Definitely a subtle mod, I'd go aftermarket if you want something more aggressive.

Bilsteins for 350Z and G35
I notice that nobody here has posted any pictures of the Bilsteins shocks for the Z and G.
Anyway, I have attached one, of the B6. The image features the front 350Z revised springs. As you can see, the piston length of these shocks is quite short, making it perfect for lowering.
One thing to note is that unlike the OEM or many aftermarket configurations, where applications for the Z feature slightly shorter piston lengths compared to the G, the Bilsteins utilize the same piston length between the two applications. In other words, the Bilstein monotube B series shocks is a one-part-number-fits-all between the Z and the G.
The Bilsteins piston lengths on these shocks are matched with the Z. What this means is that these Bilstein shocks are perfect for lowering springs for the G coupe or sedan.
I would recommend these shocks over any Tokicos. They have a BMW-like rebound. I don't know what Tokico is thinking, but the rebound of their shocks are simply terrible on all their shocks.
