G35/350Z aftermarket coilover, springs and shocks spec's w/updates
this is just a question in general about the front dampers. Why has a shock company not created a shorter damper to lower the car? It looks like a good 2 inches could easily be reduced and that would open the flood gates for springs and ride height choices

Thank you for the great info on the site.
I'm about to complete a Z/G conversion for my "03 Sport Sedan and was considering using Non Sport Coupe Coils in the rear because I heard the Coupe Sports are really stiff. If I'm reading the chart you posted correctly, there is no difference between a Sedan Sport Rear Coil and a Coupe Non Sport Coil? If that is the case I guess there is no reason for me to change? Or, would I still get a drop with the same stiffness I currently enjoy?
Thanks for your help.

G35 Coupe "Sport Package"
I'm going to buy some Swift Springs for my '04 coupe. looking at what the info in the first post is can anyone confirm the exact drop of the 350z version below compared to the g35? I know it says that it's an additional .5" drop over what's stated, but i have read that this only applies to the front springs and not the rear. Can anyone confirm???
Thanks!!!
Thanks!!!
Question for you spring experts. I have an 04 x and am currently sitting on 03 Performance Trim 350z springs up front and G coupe springs in the rear. The pictures below show the car prior to swapping the Z springs on the front. Before it was coupe suspension all around. The Z springs brought the front down probably 3/4 to 1" over what you see in the pictures. My question is, what springs could I swap to front and rear to bring the rear (as it sits in the pictures) down another 1" and the fronts (currently about or a little less than an inch lower than the pictures) down another 1.5"? I'm trying to get the car flush without rubbing and I'm about 1.5-2 fingers from tire to wheel well up front and about 1-1.5 fingers to wheel well in the back. Wheels are 18 x 8.5" front and 18 x 9.5" rear. 245/40 tires all around. I know when I had my 350z, I had Tanabe GF210's and it lowered (over the stock Z suspension) the car around 1.5-2" up front. I've read through all the measurements on the first page but with the 2 types of suspension and trying to figure out what lowers what how much more I'm confused, haha. If anybody has some 350z Tanabe GF210s and would want to swap for G or Z springs I've got both complete sets, just let me know, haha. Thanks,
Fletch

this spring when my car comes out of the garage, I am going to be installing the Tokico D-Spec 350Z springs. if all goes as expected, it should be the perfect drop with springs and I will post pics as soon as possible...stay tuned.
