Interesting.... I didn't know they still used the 3.3
Well that sucks, haha. Thanks for the info, guess I'll have to keep looking for an 6MT diff then.

Ok so that same seller emails me saying they had another diff off of an 09 G37 Coupe S w/18k miles and manual transmission. Attached these pics:

Looks just like the one that went into the Z 2 pages back. Also looks like it has the 4 bolt flange. What do you guys think?

If the details on what it came off of are correct, then it should be a 3.7 VLSD. The 4 bolt flange will bolt directly to your car without having to modify anything. I can't see the pics since they're blocked on this server, but is there a shaft extending past the front of the flange like the previous pics, or is it flush with it? And I don't know if I would trust that seller...

^ The shaft is flush with the flange. The seller is an eBay seller with 30 100% positive reviews. Personally, I've never liked buying stuff on eBay, but so far I've never had a problem with them. Hopefully this time won't be any different. Thanks again.

CLUB MODERATOR
So it is looks like in 08 both AT and MT came with 3.7 diff
Looking at infinitihelp.com, in a "Viscous Limited-Slip Diff" line..what does the "P" and "S" stand for? (and 05 has "O", what does that stand for)
How do I know if I have an open diff or VLSD ? 05 AT Sport susp.

O - stand alone option
S - standard
P - included in optional package
Since you have the sport suspension I believe you have the VLSD.

how to tell them apart? Is there any visual diff between 3.3, 3.5 and 3.7? Are those painted letters mean anything "KG, K5"?
