Yeah, me too! Was hoping to get the MAF in today but it didn't happen. Canada Post kind of messed things up yesterday and went to deliver the parts to the wrong business. I might have written the postal code down wrong when I gave it to the guys at Intec. Anyway, parts aren't in until tomorrow at the earliest and I'm gone tomorrow morning. They weren't doing final numbers- I'm leaving that to Intec... but I was going to need a tune done with the new MAF and boost controller anyway so Monkey Nutz was going to take care of that for me over at Racing Greed.

They did get the car corner balanced with my weight in the car and in response to my "how did it look" I was told "it was MESSED up!" I kind of figured they were- what with me monkeying around with them over the past month or so... not to mention that they were never really adjusted properly from the start- only installed and kind of left as is / was.

So, I'm glad things got tweaked in proper fashion and everything balanced out nicely.

Monkey Nutz is keeping the car until the boost controller / MAF is in and then they offered to deliver the car to the GFs place in my absence... I Thought that was great! They said they'd include some video and photos for me on the dyno when things were going on... always helps to keep the fire lit when it comes to my impatience!

I'm not back until September 22nd or so... sigh!

Yes hoping to be back at intec mid October or so. Couple weeks to complete sounds fast but if the racing season is slowing down it's definitely not off the radar. I'm really interested to see your numbers.

yea little optomistic but, all the parts are in blocks been at the machine shop for 2 weeks now and last i heard they were getting the bearing specs and stuff lined up and heads are done, so once he block is back3-5 days to get it back in the car and squared away. will be a little quicker to put back together than yours because my gauges and boost controller and everything are already mounted with the lines ran, and most of the fuel system is in already too save for the twin pump and the return. sounds like a plan mid october hit up the cheese cake factory or somen!

Okay boys... well the build has sort of grown beyond the turbo- so maybe I should bring this to another forum.

But, to make the build complete I need to bring the LSD into the equation. It's a toss between Quaife and Nismo VLSD. The cost is about the same...

I'm leaning towards Quaife... but unfortunately they're not that easy to get ahold of anymore in North America.

So, anyone want to weigh in?

What about noise/clunkiness? I would research the Nismo a bit more. The Quaife has my vote. I have tried the Carbonetics ATS LSD and the Quaife (and came from the stock VLSD originally). Call Ryan or Greg at Injected Performance and tell them you need the Quaife and give them the exact specs of what you are working with currently (6MT vs 5AT open vs VLSD and model year of car). They will hook you up.

Eh guys- thanks for the feedback. As I had said before earlier in the thread my heart was set on Quaife... and MNR recently got one lined up. Should be paid for today- so that is definitely the route I've chosen.

Here's a quick pic for those of you who haven't seen it since the recent corner balancing and reconfiguration on the BC coils.
