The upgraded pulley, 2.87 with stage 4 push out 7.5 psi of boost so if I decide to do the tune, I will have to upgrade my fuel injectors from stock 380cc to 600cc because the stock fuel injectors will have to run near 100% duty cycle.. If not, the result won't be any good. Another option he told me is to find a larger pulley, from a stage 2 or 3, which will make lower boost pressure and in turn will work out good with stock injectors.

What do you guys think?
He's right about removing the 7th injector and black box... but No way you need 600cc injectors for a stillen kit. You should be able to tune with the 380cc injectors on osiris. Yes they will be close to maxed out but with 320ish whp they will hold up. If anything get a fuel return which will increase the base fuel pressure proportional to boost. Using a fuel return + walbro pump I'm at 415whp on 440cc injectors and they are only running around 80% max. Plus, the fuel return will come in handy if you decide to go for more HP (e.g. Vortech).

Years ago i talked to a few people that had the stillen back when i did and everything has been tried with very little success.Smaller pullies and dif injectors were all tried with no gains.A dif ems was also tried with the above mods and still nothing.

There are no gains to be had with the little m62 blower as its maxed out and does nothing but blow hot air when trying to get more out of it so you are just going to be throwing money out the door after stage4.You have what you have with the stillen setup......i should know.

anyone ever blow there motor using the stillen setup with stock internals and some bolt-ons. i have an 04 coupe 51k stage 3, stillen pulleys, upgrade cooling, stillen exhaust, and a few other little things nothing crazy. no ecu add-on other then stillens black box stock fuel setup. czp stage 3 clutch setup. so this is what happen left for a trip came back drove the car about 40 miles and started smelling oil pulled over and it was pissing out the left side front. dealer said blew cat, warp head overheated motor, 2-3 main damaged and a couple other things. now this is on the left side only on the motor only. now during driving temp was 168 deg like normal 70 deg temp car never been over 209 deg on temp. no strange noises at idle or wot. no codes or problems with this car other then the throttle body and a fuel problem in the past. been sc from 10k. reading plugged in to obd port scanner reading live data at idle or driving showed all normal reading all around. this is just some info to give a heads up to people asking question so they have a starting point. thank you for any help with this problem. to add i have the infiniti elite plan and of course they are blaming the sc for this and want 10k to fix this.

If you ran with a clogged cat for more than a few miles you could have easily caused the damage to that side of your motor. Not worth it using stock cats or even 2.5" HFC on a forced induction setup.

Why do you think your engine should be covered under warranty when you put a supercharger on it?

they said i was covered cause they sold me the warranty with the sc on and looking over the car. if i got to pay i will but if its one of the oem parts that caused this it should be there problem. it just sucks...haha

Ok guys, i just got back from the track and im guessing/hoping something is worng.

Stillen Stage 4

r/t .....326
60.... 2.237
1/4.... 14.187
MPH... 100.18

I ran almost the exact times with a stock motor and ran a faster 13.4 with a 100shot of nitrous. I dont have a boost gauge which i know i should get one but do you guys think i should go get it dynod tuned?? something has to be wrong when you add 140hp stage 4 kit and only run 14s..

Any ideas??

Ya you have some serious issues with that trap speed; worse than stock + bolt ons. Stop driving it and get it to a VQ tuner to professionally diagnose your issues on a lift/dyno. I bet you have a clogged cat or other serious issue -- f you keep driving on it KABOOM.

What codes are you throwing? I'd find it hard to believe if there weren't any...I'll guess, catalyst efficiency? multiple misfire?

If you ran faster with the motor stock - does the car not already <Feel> like there is something wrong? Like no "kick in the pants" like it used to have or whatever?

I keep reading about the cats having issues "clogging" or what not. I wonder if that becomes an issue after so many miles.

Would replacing the cats with new or newer (less miles) stock cats relieve some types of these issues - I wonder? My coupe only has 53k miles on her, so I doubt I'll need to address the cats by the time the blower itself would either need the 100k recommended maintenance, which by then I was thinking of going back to N/A.

Thanks Guys!

Did you actually gain 140 hp from the Stillen supercharger? What numbers did you put down on the dyno?

Im not sure what the kick was suppose to be because everyone says the stillen isn't no huge improvement and with the sound of the blower just screaming, i think it teasing your mind to think you are going faster even though apparently i wasn't...

Yeah, your nitrous setup was faster and probably put down more whp than your stage 4 Stillen kit. I’m also assuming that since you haven’t had the car on a dyno it’s not really tuned either? What EMS are you running?

Im running the stage 4 stillen tune in a box that comes with the stage 4 kit.

I thought about throwing away the box and running Osiris but people say it wont help any more than the tune in the box already does. so i dont know...

stage4 cant be 140hp boost. isn't the base stage 2 only like a 50-60 hp. assuming stage 3 goes up 3psi and a slight rumor of 1psi of boost = 10hp, that should only be about 100hp add on.

either way you obviously have something wrong. I know a couple of stage 4 350z's running low low 13's, i think boost leak or something.
