My friend said it may be blowby, i hope it's just the valve cover gasket.
Are you gonna take it into Infiniti to get it replaced?
I noticed a huge drop in my MPG too so I think I'll check my spark plugs soon!

It's the gasket, a known problem, I'm not sure if there is a TSB on this.

My car's engine died because of this. My car would never tell me I needed oil, and I didn't know it was consuming it. So when I went for an oil change, they told me I had no oil. I was like WTF? Are you kidding me I change the oil every 2,000 miles. So then after the oil change, my car died on me and it turned out that the rods were done. The engine lasted me 103,000 miles.

I have another used engine now with 49,000 miles on it now. When I replaced it, the mechanic told me, "This time, make sure to put oil in your engine because the old one had NO oil in it." That's weird how the old engine didn't have any oil, because I had just changed the oil before the rods died on me.
