Thank you for the information, I will check on my fluids. For the Oil should I fill it up all the way to max when the engine is warm or cold?

Top it off when it's cold before you start the vehicle. That way you will still be able to read the dipstick accurately. Think with your dipstick....Jimmy.

I failed the OC test today. The service advisor said they will order the long block and said it will take 2 weeks to do all the work, but having my oil change receipts will help, if Infiniti asks more questions.
I dont have any as I did my last 3 oil changes myself. Hopefully, they dont bother me for them and I get a new long block. (fingers-crossed).

Ok, quick update: I took my car to Infiniti yesterday to do my first followup on the oil consumption test. Turns out my car only drank 8mm worth of oil. I checked prior to startup and my estimate was about 10mm. Mileage was 1,700mi since the test began which puts it on the good to borderline mark on the TSB. Dealer said I was fine and after a while of thinking about it, they are not touching my car for an engine swap.

If you look at the TSB they do the check in 500 mile increments. So you're much better coming in at 1499.9 miles or 1999.9 miles.

I've been running on my new longblock for a week. I haven't checked the oil yet since I haven't put too many miles on it. The only thing I notice is a squeal at idle and when turning the engine off. I'm assuming it has something to do with the pulley/belts?

My replacement after awhile had a chirp chirp chirp at idle (sounded like a frickin bird). My best guess was they spilled some coolant on belt/pulley during swap. The chirp went away after a few hundred miles, but if it hadn't I was going to take it back to Dealer.

Dealer spilled some oil around alternator area and it was dripping on the underpanel. I was like NOOOOOO!!! because I thought it was a leak. I cleaned it up and checked after a couple weeks and it was dry(Thank god!). Such a sloppy job...

If it were my car I would demand to be present when the tech measures how many mm of oil have been burned. Thats what I requested, and they didn't argue at all.

Well I havent been on this forum in a few years and just recently I noticed that my engine would start making noise because of the oil consumption and when I got an oil change most of my oil was gone! Will Infinity repair this for free? I have over 100,000 miles and I purchased my G brand new from 2005.
